kcoach My primary motivation is to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be. My approach combines a mixture of mentoring, informing and coaching techniques. I am straight forward and expect you to be. I offer value for money and expect a lot of my clients. While working at World Service Enquiry www.wse.org.uk I have spoken to thousands of people who want to do "something" worthwhile. I have spoken to and encouraged people to move to the place they want to be - to live their dream, to turn their life around - and stop putting up with "stuff". Let me challenge and help you. My first career was garment design and production. I worked for large suppliers to major High Street brands, then I worked in India (Bangalore) for a few years supervising design, production and quality for export to international markets. Most of the job was transferred to a local counterpart. Upon returning to the UK and working in London I volunteered and discovered the "voluntary sector" and ultimately International Development.
I also work for a housing Association with people with disabilities, and I am a Trustee and Company Secretary of CANS Trust, www.cans.org.uk a legal information charity. I am a regular speaker at such events as forum3 www.forum3.co.uk and at VSO www.vso.org.uk returned volunteers days, where I provide ideas and strategies for development workers to move forward, and I also regularly speak at many UK Universities and student events, such as the Careers Group University of London's Getting into International Development, U8, Positive Change and alternative career fairs. As a qualified life coach, with an ECONNF Coach Diploma, I have 6 years experience of practical coaching and mentoring, working one to one with people just like you. |
