FAQs

Do you only work with people who want to work in international development?

No. I have worked with a range of professional people who basically want to do something different. These people are often unhappy in their current role and are in transition. The question for them often is; how do I do it?

Clients come various backgrounds and include:
Voluntary Sector
International Development
Government Departments
Housing
New Graduates
Legal Professionals
Accountancy
Event Management
Fish Farmers
Crop Specialists
Health Management
Nurses, Physiotherapists
Education
Media and IT
Psychotherapy
PR and Communications
Engineering
Authors and Editors

I have successfully worked with a range of people, from University graduates to retired professionals, and with a range of abilities.

Do you only work with people based in London?

No. I have coached people living in USA, Europe, South Africa, Uzbekistan, India, Vietnam, Australia, etc. by telephone and email. Whatever your background, experience or country of residence, I can help.

Are you qualified?

Yes. I have over 15 years experience of talking to people who want a new career direction. As a qualified life coach, with an ECONNF Coach Diploma, I have a wealth of experience of practical coaching and mentoring; working one to one with people and I am very experienced in public speaking, presenting seminars, workshops and open Q&A sessions.

Do you do any consultations for free?

Yes. I work with a percentage of clients per year for free. So, it's worth asking if I have any availability, particularly if you live overseas in a developing country.

Can I visit you in your office?

No. I don't work out of an office – I am virtual, that helps to keep costs and fees to a minimum. Normally, I meet clients in known hotel bars/lounge areas, or visit the client at their site, if they have available meeting rooms.
